Program Overview
THIS IS AN ONLINE-ONLY PROGRAM
A World of Learning Incorporated's family literacy program is geared toward intergenerational learning. The family literacy is focused on presenting successful and individualized interactive literacy activities between parents and their children. These activities include parent literacy enhancement for economic self-sufficiency, child literacy enhancement in language arts and mathematics, intergenerational literacy facilitating adult/child education partnerships. A World of Learning Inc.'s programs build on the foundational principles of family literacy including language and writing skills, advancing parental education/career skills and opportunities, and promoting family health and wellness.
At A World Of Learning Incorporated, we are currently working on a project that aims to place the spotlight on self-care through mental, physical and emotional health & wellness. As a result of the on-going Covid 19 Pandemic, studies are showing that youth and young adults are suffering from its traumatic effects. These effects are having direct negative implications on the functioning of these youths both academically and personally. Therefore, A World of Learning Incorporated is shifting the focus to the immediate need of helping guide and support the youth. Our project, The Spotlight Campaign focuses on helping students sharpen their skills of looking within, to find the light of wellbeing using various tools and resources. The key is The Spotlight Campaign's programming that offers direction in self-awareness, self-acknowledgement and self-acceptance. The Spotlight Campaign will use all donations to supply middle school students to young adults with mentoring, coaching and wellbeing bags to aid in their mental, emotional and physical health. Your support is critical to the completion of our latest project because Together We CAN Move Mountains.
