Program Overview
DH/Perfil Latino TV, Inc. is a 501-c3 organization at the heart of south Jersey that works to serve the educational needs of the area. A community group was formed in 1997 in Cumberland County, NJ, with the main purpose of self-supporting individuals with diabetes. It was named “Diabeticos Hispanos”. From this community group, the organization, DH/Perfil Latino TV, Inc. (DHPLTV) was born. DHPLTV was incorporated in 2001. The mission of DHPLTV is to improve living conditions through education in general. Through a television program, as well as through community classes, events and presentations, DHPLTV offers a variety of services, including ESL, Reading, Writing, and Health Management classes through the community center, El Centro Guadalupano. DHPLTV has been providing ESL classes since 2008. Classes are offered at community sites, including the Vineland Public Library, Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Vineland, and Cumberland County College.Education services
