Adult Education students who live within District 11 boundaries have the option to participate in the Family Literacy program, where they bring their children, ages 6 weeks through 5th grade, to school with them. While parents attend Adult Education classes, the children receive age appropriate literacy instruction.
Group instruction is provided in classes of no more than 20 students, and students have access to computers during class. Adult and Family Education teachers are required to have a Colorado Teaching License and the Adult Basic Education Authorization (ABEA).
