All Saints Literacy Center

Program Overview

All Saints Literacy Center is a non-profit 501(c)3 located in southwest Detroit and is committed to helping adults reach their educational, social and career goals by improving their literacy skills. The Center is a welcoming place for learners to improve their ability to read, write, do math and speak in English.

The Center also provides English as a Second Language (ESL) tutoring. All levels are welcome whether the person is a beginner, intermediate or advanced learner. The program serves adult learners ages 18 and up.

Learners are paired with a trained volunteer tutor, and after an individualized learning plan is created the student will receive one on one tutoring two hours per week. The student centered learning approach can be adapted to meet the needs and goals of the learner. There is no cost for the tutoring.
