Program Overview
The Allegheny Family Network Adult Education Program is a class for adult parents in Allegheny County. This class is located in Natrona Heights, PA in the Highlands School District. The class includes a teacher and materials, free childcare, lunch, computer-based practice tests and peer support. The program also includes the cost of the GED test and transportation to the test site. The Natrona Heights location is located near Highlands High School. A local shuttle is provided at no fee for our students residing in Tarentum, Brackenridge, Natrona and Natrona Heights. Our program is able to connect you with Family Support Partners and other resources available in Allegheny County. The class includes exploration and assistance in pursuing secondary education in colleges or training schools and assistance in resume building, application completion and career exploration.
