Student and Volunteer Success Stories
We had a student who came in homeless, a single mother, and she relocated to flee domestic abuse. She came in at a low level in math and language. We worked with her for her initial 40 hours and she made a level gain. She took the GED Ready and passed all the section, then passed the GED and NCRC. She started college at SKYCTS the same year and finished on the Dean's List. Through the Work and Learn Program she now works for the IT Department at the college.
