Program Overview
Boys & Girls Clubs build character through everyday leadership and guidance in behavior and attitude. Young people of all nationalities, races and creeds join together in wholesome recreation and companionship. Trained professional staff provide positive adult mentors and role models. Nationally recognized programs help young people succeed in school, stay healthy, learn important life skills, pursue interests in the arts & sports, and explore vocational choices. Most importantly, Boys & Girls Clubs show youngsters that someone cares and wants them to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. Our Club In 2004, we originally opened our doors and began serving youth at the Weimar Clubhouse. In 2005, we opened in Schulenburg and in Columbus in 2012. Today, we've expanded our reach to serve some 950 youth annually. During the school year, our doors are open Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. During the summer months, we provide summer camp activities from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Cost Info
While Club memberships dues are only $25 for the school year and $30 for the summer, it costs approximately $600 per year, per child. to operate the Boys & Girls Clubs. The majority of our operating funds come from local donations, grants, and fundraisers, and we ask all parents to help us any way you are able, so that we may continue to provide quality youth development programs for your child.Education services
