Program Overview
Brunswick County Literacy Council (BCLC) was founded in 1981 at the suggestion of Brunswick Community College. BCLC also offers a health literacy program in collaboration with New Hope Clinic. Each year the Council serves over 100 students to improve their literacy skills, GED preparation, computer skills and learn English as a second language.
