Program Overview

Word Camp: Word Camp is our flagship program: a series of free, virtual workshops that bring together passionate young writers throughout the United States. In 2022 Word Camp was held in July. Check our website for upcoming dates. During the first four days of the week, participants will learn about/read/write/discuss work within the genre, and then on the fifth day, they'll share their own pieces. Each instructor also offers optional one-on-one hours every day where kids can come in to get individualized feedback and talk about their writing. Writers will come away with a piece that they can share with their friends and family, and treasure forever — plus a gorgeous digital anthology of their group's writing.

Cosmic Coaching: Virtual or in-person, drop-in or standing mentorship — Cosmic Coaching has got you! If you're a young writer looking for feedback on your work, we invite you to meet with a Cosmic Coach who can help you hone your craft.
