Program Overview
The Danbury Family Learning Center, Inc. assists families in learning and strengthening their parenting skills and learning how to support their child in school through parent education using a 2 generation approach. Families learn together in the classroom to increase their own literacy skills, reading to their children, keeping their families safe and healthy life styles. The family educator also helps transition families to public schools and its expectations. Other classes offered through the Center are ESL, People Supporting People, Lee R Yeras, Supporting School Success and Raising readers.
