Program Overview

The Community Writing Center (CWC) at Duquesne University offers writing instruction and literacy programming for children and their families in the Pittsburgh region. We provide individual and small group tutoring and workshops to help you with your writing. We help with schoolwork, professional applications, résumés, and other creative endeavors, including community newsletters and book projects. Programs are designed in collaboration with community partners. In-person programming occurs on site at community partner locations. We travel to you or work virtually online. The CWC also provides training to secondary school writing centers in the greater Pittsburgh area. We support public secondary school writing programs so area teachers can support students in their own schools.
