Program Overview
English as a Second Language (ESL) classes is one of the main services that our organization provides to the Hispanic immigrant community. The emphasis on providing ELS classes began in 2007 as a proactive action to the proposed English-Only Ordinance introduced in Nashville City Council. PCC also provides computer training as well as other community education workshops, such as immigrants' rights and responsibilities workshops.
Cost Info
The cost of our 6-week cycle is $50.00 when we do not have funding to provide classes for free. This amount is used to provide materials to students, such as handouts and other materials. We do not deny access to our English classes to students who cannot afford to contribute the $50.00Education services
