Program Overview
The ESL classes are prepared at two different levels and provided to adult learners of English as a Second Language. The classes provide instruction via a professor on written and spoken English. Computers are used for some activities during the class to familiarize the students with certain objectives and seek resources for practice throughout the week.
Cost Info
The NMB Library in collaboration with Miami Dade College provides ESL classes to area residents. The classes usually have a cost of $175.00. That cost ended this last semester as we were able to obtain a grant and will be providing the next set of classes starting in March for free. This will be on-going for two semesters. Unless grant is received the cost of the classes will have to be passed down to the students.Education services
