Program Overview

Sunnyside Community Services (SCS) enrich lives and strengthen communities through services and engagement for individuals at all ages, beginning with those most in need.

SCS envisions diverse, inclusive, and caring communities where all people thrive and reach their fullest potential.

SCS provides comprehensive free English as a Second Language (ESOL) classes to help immigrants to improve their English language skills. The classes are taught by expert ESOL instructors. The curriculum was created to meet the needs of all immigrants. Each day will help you to build the skills you need to communicate with employers, doctors, landlords, your children's teachers, and others in the community.

We also offer student support services, which include advisement, free tutoring, and help with accessing other public benefits or social services.
