Program Overview
ADULT ENGLISH CLASS
The classes is for new arrival refugees and other immigrants who face language barriers in finding employment. The program also includes a digital literacy class to help students navigate the digital world. We prioritize students who are new arrival refugees, or TANF recipients.
Our program meets Monday - Thursday 9am - 12pm
EVENING ENGLISH CLASS
B5 Volunteers teach adult students all aspects of English, with particular attention to workplace vocabulary.
B5 Volunteers can also work one on one with a particular student practicing conversational English if there is something that prevents the student from attending class.
CITIZENSHIP CLASS
We also have citizenship preparation classes, Wednesday 5:30pm - 6:30pm.
