Nyareak is one of our Reading students who originally started in ESL. Being from Sudan, she wanted to work on her English so she could talk to her family. "My children speak English, so now I can talk with them better. It helps me with how I read, speak, and understand." explained Nyareak. This has been her first experience in a school environment and she has been so successful! She now attends Reading where she is learning how to read and write in English. In a short time, she has progressed by leaps and bounds. When asked if she enjoyed our program she replied with an adamant "Yes! It has helped me learn more, the reading teachers help me with spelling, reading, and using the dictionary. I like learning English."
