Program Overview
NOTICE (For the remainder of 2022): Due to ongoing Covid-19, our programs and services have moved to virtual online learning and mix-hybrid instructions. Our programs will not interrupted, so that we can continue to serve our clients.
The Hattiesburg University Foundation was founded in 2003 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. In 2007, the IRS granted our 501(c)(3) tax exemption. Due to growth and expansion, the Hattiesburg University Foundation, as a tax-exempt, non-profit foundation, moved its operations briefly to Atlanta, Georgia, and now is permanently headquartered in Beverly Hills, California serving the Greater Los Angeles area.
The mission of the Hattiesburg University Foundation is "to serve humanity through human philanthropy via impacting the benchmarks of education, housing, literacy, and economic/community development." Since our founding and now expansion to two states: California and Mississippi, the Hattiesburg University Foundation has served so many adult learners through literacy, English skills, college readiness, etc. Currently, as a small charity, there is a waiting list for our innovative programs and benchmarks. However, the foundation, although small, will strive to serve all of our constituents and guests and/or recommend additional programs and services from various stakeholders.
