Program Overview
Hopeworks is a nonprofit that works with youth ages 16 to 25 to encourage them to get back in school and find a safe pathway to their future. Youth who need their high school diploma participate in both the web design job training program and ABS classes to prepare for the HiSet test. Hopeworks pays youth based on their participation and will also cover the cost of the HiSet exam. Upon completion of the 6 week job training program, youth are able to earn a paid internship ($10/hour) while continuing to prepare for their high school diploma. Hopeworks also offers support for high school graduates looking to enroll in college or find full time work.
To enroll, please contact us to schedule a tour. After completing the tour, youth are able to start the program and classes immediately.
Cost Info
The Hopeworks program is free for youth ages 16 to 25. Youth receive a weekly stipend (payment) for participating in Hopeworks' classes and web design job training program.Student and Volunteer Success Stories
"It was only a little over a year ago that I had no hope or motivation to do anything and today I have my GED, I've completed the computer training, earned a job with the GIS department, and will be starting college in the fall thanks to The Hopeworks Fam!"
"A few months went by and my fiancee's mom told me about Hopeworks and how they could support me academically and practically to return to school. I knew I had to check this program out and that this was an opportunity I couldn't pass up. Getting a tour of Hopeworks was mind blowing. It gave youth a chance to make money, better themselves in their school work, prepare to get their GED or enter college. I soon realized that was just the beginning of what Hopeworks does."
