Program Overview
The Jefferson County Adult Education Center is a vital link in the continuing educational process, serving adult students seventeen (17) years of age or older at all educational levels. These levels include preparation for the high school equivalency assessment (GED), improving basic skills , literacy development, English as a Second Language (ESL), and special topics classes. The Adult Education program works closely with Literacy Volunteers of the Eastern Panhandle, Inc. to address adult literacy needs in the region.
