Student and Volunteer Success Stories

Recently, the ESOL teacher asked her student "why do you drive 1 hour each way to attend class here at this library? Do you feel like the drive is worth your time? Yuki, a young professional from Japan, who is working towards improving his English speaking skills had the following response. "I attend classes at a community college twice a week. Those classes are more focused on reading and writing. In the class at the library, I get more conversation practice. I also get to meet new people. Practice here is better for me and in this class there is a good feeling for me."
