Program Overview
The Women's Home (TWH) has two campuses in Houston, TX that offer tailored literacy services.
At our Montrose campus located near downtown Houston, we operate a Residential Treatment Program for women who are homeless and diagnosed with substance use and mental health disorders. We provide the women in our care with up to 18 months of housing and tailored supports that include clinical, vocational, education and residential services. As part of these services, we offer GED tutoring to women participating in our treatment program to help them successfully complete their high school equivalency exam. Please call 713-328-1954 for more information regarding our Residential Treatment Program.
In the Spring Branch East neighborhood of northwest Houston, The Women's Home owns and operates a 30,000 sq. ft. community service center, called the Mabee WholeLife Service Center, that offers a wide range of collaborative support services to support the community at large. Literacy programming for children and adults is offered at the center throughout the year. For more information about the center and the services it offers, please call 713-328-1963.
