Program Overview

• We work with families to build a home library to increase your child's reading development
• We get books into the classroom at elementary schools that do not have funding
• We provide parent education on reading routines for the home to support their child's learning of reading.
• We make sure children select their own books. This allows them to grow their interests when learning to read.

"I'd like to thank you again for the high quality book donations! Today I personally worked with several teachers to build classroom libraries. Our 6th grade ELA teacher now has a nice selection of books for her students. As a new teacher she is truly appreciative. In addition, five other teachers were excited to come grab books to actually begin their own libraries! I'll be working this week to make sure the rest get good homes I've included Melissa Carruth from central office so she has your information. I am definitely interested in the future. This has made a huge impact in improving our libraries since the books were diverse, current and in great condition. Thank you again for the amazing work you are doing!
