Program Overview

Serving the Michigan City area for over 40 years, we provide volunteer-based tutoring services to children and adults. Our primary tutoring focuses are: reading, math, High School Equivalency, and English as a Second Language, but other tutoring services are at times available.

There is no charge for these services, but proper enrollment, session preparedness, regular attendance, and abiding by all library policies are necessary.

Tutors are volunteers from within our community that seek to help enhance academic skills on a personalized level, and new tutors are always welcomed.

We also have a fine selection of learning materials that can be checked out for at home use, and study booths for a less distracting learning environment.
