Program Overview

My Learning Studio OUTREACH (MLSO) is a 501c3 that has provided free and reduced-fee award winning tutoring services to low-income, foster, adopted, at-risk, court-appointed, and COVID affected students in and around Riverside since 2008. We are best known for offering affordable quality 1-1, small group, and enrichment workshops for students of all ages in numerous subjects.

Our mission at MLSO is to encourage and benefit all students and their parents academically and emotionally in creative and innovative ways, regardless of ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation.

Every year since our inception in 2008, MLSO has been voted #1 tutoring center in the Inland Empire by The Press-Enterprise. We are proud of the high-quality tutoring we provide at free or reduced cost to students and families in need. Recently a mother of one of our student's, Kimberly shared gratitude for the “generous grants that DIRECTLY change people's lives, one student at a time!" noting her daughter struggled with hearing loss that put her behind academically and affected her self-confidence. After receiving hearing loss surgeries and receiving My Learning Studio OUTREACH assistance, she now serves on the student council, is excelling in school and has confidence to speak up for herself. Kimberly thanked MLSO and The Assistance League for the blessing of “positively changing the course of my daughter's educational career forever".

Julia, Julian's Mother expressed her gratitude for the tutoring Julian received at MLSO and shared it was "very beneficial to him" and appreciated the “much needed assistance for free tutoring" thanks to the Assistance League of Riverside's sponsorship.
