Program Overview

ABE/ESOL Instructional Program
Offering English for Speakers of Other Languages, Adult Basic Education, GED & HiSET Preparation classes
Classes offered mornings:
Monday - Thursday 9 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Adult Learning Center 181 Hillman Street. 508-997-4511 Ext. 33550
Evening Classes:
Monday and Wednesday 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at New Bedford High School 508-997-4511 Ext. 21218

The program also has a volunteer tutor component.

The volunteer tutor assists students to reach their goals by working under the direction of the classroom teacher either by working in the classroom alongside the teacher, small groups or one-on-one assistance.
