Program Overview

The NSU Alvin Sherman Library is a joint-use library serving residents of Broward County and NSU students, faculty and staff. Children and their parents/caregivers learn emergent literacy skills at in-person Raise a Reader Story Times. Adults can improve workforce skills in-person or online via the You Got This financial literacy programming series. Library users have free access with their NSU Alvin Sherman Library card to online learning resources; youth (ages 16+) and adults can improve workforce skills using LinkedIn Learning video tutorials, and students can study for their high school equivalency exam and other standardized tests via the Learning Express platform.

Cost Info

All programming is free. Use of electronic resources require a free library card. Parking costs $1 per hour.
