Program Overview

OVEC provides Head Start and Early Head Services to approximately 600 infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and their families throughout 9 counties in Kentucky: Bullitt, Franklin, Gallatin, Henry Jefferson, Oldham, Owen, Shelby, and Spencer Counties. Head Start and Early Head Start provide comprehensive services to foster whole-child development. A variety of program options are available, including home-based, school-year center-based, and full-year full-day services.
