Program Overview
We are a non-profit, 501(c)3, volunteer organization. We provide free tutoring 2 hours/week for school-age children to adults who struggle with basic reading, writing and/or math. We will provide tutoring for those hoping to achieve their GED, want to learn to read for enjoyment as adults, or for children who are struggling with basic reading, writing, or math.
Our tutors work with one student at a time to provide individual attention. We have no small group instruction. Tutoring sessions are held in public libraries or recreation centers to provide a safe place for our students and our tutors.
We opened our doors in Horry County, SC on August 1, 2019. We are a recognized charity.
