Program Overview

Pasadena City College's General Education Development program offers free Math, Science, Social Studies, and Reading through Language Arts classes to help you prepare for the General Education Development (GED) exams. In addition to the course content, the GED classes also provide test-taking strategies and hands-on computer practice tests.The curriculum also prepares you for a pathway to other noncredit or credit programs. Pasadena City College offers free academic and career counseling, academic tutoring, and other student support services. All four GED classes are offered during the fall semester (August - December) and Spring semester (Mid February - mid June). A select number of GED classes are offered during the Winter Intercession (January - mid February) and Summer Intercession (Mid June - July). The GED Classes meet twice a week during the morning hours.
