Program Overview
Pathways to Opportunity, aligns with Goodwill of Southwest Florida's mission “to serve people with disabilities and disadvantages by offering life-changing opportunities to achieve independence." This exciting program was launched in July 2014 to provide group training for adults with developmental disabilities and significant functional limitations. The Pathways to Opportunity program is structured on the needs and interests of its participants who choose training topics and activities based on their identified goals. In this respect it is unique as a person-directed, person-centered training program. Group classes are led by trained professionals. Classes are currently scheduled from 9:30 am through 3:30 pm Monday through Friday.
Cost Info

For individuals not receiving this state funding, due to being on a wait list or not eligible, there is a private-pay charge ranging from $2.00 to $29.16 per day based on participant’s income level. When available, scholarship opportunities provide for participants to attend free of cost. Participants are selected based on program availability and meeting the admission criteria.
