Student and Volunteer Success Stories

"When I started the tutoring program it was very hard to read a book. I saw punctuation such as periods, commas, exclamation marks and question marks, but I did not respect them. I read the words without pausing. It was very hard for me to read.

My tutor is incredibly good with the books. She helps me choose interesting books. Sometimes I read a book to my son. He is ten years old, and he is surprised how I improved my reading skills."
