Program Overview

Literacy Council WILCO serves adult students at 12 locations throughout Williamson County in the following programs. Class days and times vary by location. Visit our website for complete list of classes and how to register.

GED- Classes and online software to prepare students to take the high school equivalency test. Classes are offered year round with open registration.

English as a Second Language (ESL)- Classes and literacy software to help improve English conversation, job preparedness, and literacy skills. We assist students with US Citizenship exams, writing resumes, and obtaining official IDs and driver's licenses.

Vocational Training- Free certification programs in local, high-need industries. We announce vocational classes on our website, Facebook, and Twitter. Must be 18 years of age and able to work in the United States

Cost Info

Some of our GED and ESL sites ask for a one-time fee of $25 but we never turn anyone away for inability to pay.,
