A young male ex-offender was referred to our
Focus on Fatherhood (FOF) program by his probation and parole officer. At the time of enrollment he was an unemployed high school dropout who was unable secure a job to support his family. After he enrolled in FOF program our dedicated staff met with him and began helping him reach his goals. He was able to:
1) Increase his literacy level 2) obtain full-time employment with benefits 3) resume paying child support. As a result of these accomplishments he experienced an improvement in his self-esteem and leadership skills. This young male now wants others to experience the same success and is currently training to become a Peer-Tutor for the FOF program.
