Program Overview

Program Overview: Reading Enrichment Program for Grade Students

Objective: To improve reading skills and comprehension in grade K - 12 students through engaging and interactive activities.
Program Description: The Reading Enrichment Program is designed to help students improve their reading skills and comprehension through a variety of engaging and interactive activities. These activities will include, but are not limited to, group discussions, independent reading, and writing exercises.


Target Audience: The program is designed for grade K - 12 students who are struggling with reading and comprehension, or who simply want to improve their skills.
Duration: The program will run for 10 weeks, with one 2-hour session per week.
Curriculum: The curriculum will be designed to address the following key areas:

  • Phonemic awareness
  • Phonics
  • Vocabulary development
  • Comprehension strategies
  • Fluency

Activities:

  • Group discussions on assigned readings
  • Independent reading with comprehension questions
  • Writing exercises to reinforce comprehension and vocabulary
  • Word study and phonics practice
  • Fluency activities

Assessments:

  • Pre- and post-program assessments to measure progress
  • Ongoing formative assessments throughout the program
  • Final project or presentation to showcase learning

Instructors: The program will be led by certified teachers with experience in reading instruction.
Location: The program will take place at a local school or community center.
Material: All materials will be provided by the program, including books and other resources.
Enrollment: Interested students can enroll through their school or by contacting the program directly.
