Program Overview
SA Youth has been serving youth ages 16-24 years old since 1984. The latest iteration of SA Youth's youth development program is based directly on participant feedback and market research. See Our Achievements Rise! (SOAR!) provides three cohorts of 15 - 20 unduplicated youth per year on-site at SA Youth's Poplar Center. SOAR! meets individuals where they are and provides comprehensive services, support, and encouragement to help each reach his or her full potential.
An applicant must be committed to completing requirements for earning his or her high school diploma, attending class in-person four days per week for four hours per day, and fully participating in program and case management services. Students work with staff to create a personalized plan to meet their personal, educational, employment and financial goals.
