Sanger Adult School, High School Diploma - Independent Study

Program Overview

Finish your High School Diploma with Sanger Adult School. We will build on the transcripts you have from your former schools. Our school requires 170 credit in specific areas to graduate. We have Open-Enrollment and Open-Exit which means you can enter and graduate throughout the school year. The independent study format allows you to meet with your teacher once a week and complete most of your studies in the comfort of your own home. When I was a teenager in high school, many things distracted me from concentrating on school. I left school in 2009, when I learn that I would not be able to graduate with my class.

After working a few different jobs and hitting multiple
dead-ends, I realized that I wasn't going to get ahead without an
education. I registered for Sanger
Adult School to earn my high school diploma in 2014. When I returned to school, I had a wife and daughter to support. The Independent Study Program allowed me to continue working fulltime to support my family and study at night.

I graduated from Sanger Adult School in 2015. After investigating a variety of career options, I landed a job at Creative Alternatives School as an Instructional Aide. Currently, I am working as a Transportation Coordinator for the same school. This job has allowed me the financial freedom to buy a house for my family. Buying the house has two
positive outcomes: One, my family and I have a stable home. The second is that the property has a guesthouse that I rent out to supplement my income.

All and all, I am living a comfortable and productive life. I am grateful for the opportunity to attend adult school to finish my high school diploma. I feel that I wouldn't be where I am today without the adult school.
