Program Overview
Shelby Literacy is an Adult Literacy Learning Center that has worked with adult learners for over 30 years. Our students come from all over the area including Shelby and Fayette Counties, Mississippi and Arkansas. We have 3 main programs - English as a Second Language, Community Literacy, and a new job skills program.
We provide individualized one-on-one tutoring, small group learning/classes, and some online instruction to meet our students' needs.
Our programs are always expanding to meet the needs of our learners.
Cost Info
Our HiSET program is a $25 fee and include study materials. Our ESL program has a $25 and prices vary depending on the class. Sliding scale and scholarships are available.Education services
