South Baltimore Adult High School

Program Overview

South Baltimore Adult High School (SBAHS) offers an alternative pathway for adults who did not graduate from high school to earn their diploma in a supportive, adult-centered learning environment. To be eligible for enrollment, students must be at least 21 years old, have not previously earned a high school diploma, and have not completed the requirements through the National External Diploma Program® (NEDP) or GED® testing program.

Understanding that our students juggle multiple responsibilities, such as work and parenting, we prioritize flexibility to accommodate their busy lives. Our goal is to meet students where they are and help them successfully complete the necessary requirements to earn a high school diploma.

Note: SBAHS is not a GED or NEDP Program. To earn your high school diploma, you must complete all requirements outlined by the Maryland State Department of Education.
