Program Overview

Prince Edward County Literacy Council:

(PECLC) is a collective of various organizations and individuals who have vested interest in Adult Education, skill building, and empowerment. STEPS Inc a nonprofit organization with a
30-year history of positive results to help people break the cycles of poverty. STEPS servers as the fiduciary agent for the Council and provides encourage and support to Literacy Programming in Prince Edward County.

Prince Edward County Literacy Council's (PECLC) primary focus is Advocacy, ABE, ESL/ELL, digital and financial literacy to individuals and groups in the community.

PECLC provides direct assist to individuals in order to build their reading, writing, and computational, and speaking skills.

Council membership represents a broad base of support in the
community and is uniquely positioned to provide comprehensive programs and services to meet the goals of our students. The Prince Edward County Literacy Council believes by working together, we can strengthen all our communities. And we can help to improve the lives of all our students.
