Program Overview
A new job or promotion can be yours by earning your High School Equivalency Diploma. Students can get a high school diploma by taking either the High School Equivalency Test (HiSET®). Tennessee offers free Adult education classes and testing in every county of the state.
Eligible Populations
Those eligible for Adult Education services are individuals who:
Are at least 17 years of age (16 if emancipated)
Are not enrolled or required to be enrolled in secondary school under state law
Lack sufficient mastery of basic educational skills to enable the individuals to function effectively in society
Do not have a secondary school diploma or its recognized equivalent
Are unable to speak, read, or write the English language

FREE Classes for preparation of high school equivalency test-HiSET. Vouchers to pay for the HiSET test. FREE online classes-to those who qualify. Day and evening classes are available.Education services
