Program Overview
We are a nonprofit organization established in 1986 dedicated to helping adults in the Harlingen and surrounding areas reach their full potential by acquiring the listening, speaking, reading and writing skills (in English) they need to help themselves in their daily lives. The Literacy Center of Harlingen is very proud to be a United Way agency and an affiliate member of ProLiteracy America.
Cost Info
Registration cost is $10-a one time fee. ($10 even if enrolled in multiple courses.) Cost of personal materials which are the student's property - GED manual $27, citizenship manual $15, ESL set of 2 books $32Education services
