Program Overview

Reach and Exceed your Goals! - The Literacy Center at Upland Public Library provides FREE one-on-one tutoring for adults struggling with basic literacy concepts including reading, writing, vocabulary, and comprehension. Learners are matched with trained volunteer tutors, who work together to help the learner meet his or her individual goals.

Change a Life! - The Adult Literacy program welcomes volunteers who want to make a difference by providing one-on-one online tutoring to adults seeking to improve their literacy skills. No previous tutoring or teaching experience is required as training and ongoing support are provided.
