Program Overview

Upper Darby is home to 88 nationalities and a large immigrant population. As a response to the needs of our community, we are proud to offer English Language classes for beginner and intermediate speakers. UDCOC provides a comfortable, accepting, and encouraging environment to learn the vital "key to our culture" -- English. Without English, people who immigrate to our "land of opportunity" will most often remain on the margins. As students acquire the English language, they begin to feel a part of our culture, and to feel "at home."
