Program Overview

VAI's Adult Education Program serves the Uptown and surrounding communities with a variety of free programs such as: EL Civics, ESL, and Citizenship classes. We also arrange one-on-one ESL tutoring for students unable to attend classes during our scheduled hours.

Our ESL classes aim to promote literacy amongst immigrant/refugee adults in Chicago and to create an outstanding learning environment for people in need. Daily morning classes are provided to Beginning Literacy through Low Intermediate level students.
