Program Overview

We offer free lessons for teens and adults who want to become better readers. Our tutoring is:

• Remote, 2-3 times per week.

• One-on-one. You will usually have the same tutor each night.

• We start at the very beginning wherever you are, and go step-by-step at your pace.

• We use "structured phonics" which means we teach the relationship between the sounds and the letters.

• We teach vocabulary, grammar, and writing as well.

• Our program is especially for teens and adults.

• We work with students who are dyslexic, those who had very little school, and those who are not 100% proficient in English.t

• Our tutors are all trained volunteers who have passed a test to show hat they can teach effectively.
