Program Overview

The Winston-Salem Street School is dedicated to the belief that a quality education is the most effective means of transforming the disenfranchised youth of our community into productive citizens. Our students include those who have dropped out or been expelled from the public high school system in Winston-Salem/ Forsyth County. The Winston-Salem Street school was specifically created to target these students. The WSSS is an alternative education program that offers hope to students who have little or no hope of finishing high school. At-risk youth are provided an opportunity to learn and grow in a positive environment which reflects and demonstrates the love of Christ. We offer a high school diploma as an end result.
