World Relief Memphis: Connect Language Center

Program Overview

World Relief Memphis' Connect Language Center builds belonging by creating community spaces in quality ESL programming, teacher training, and cross-cultural education opportunities. We work with refugees, asylum seekers, and every type of immigrant looking to improve their English to better integrate into their new community and workplace. Students who are new arrivals or economically disadvantaged receive free or discounted classes while economically stable students and donors help fund the newcomer scholarships.

We offer: English for Life and Work classes (promoting English fluency), Speaking Well in the US (promoting correct grammar and reading/writing skills), and American Accents (promoting clear enunciation and developing a clear accent).
